I had a reader ask where you can find a great pre-made Thanksgiving meal in the Treasure Valley and another ask if I knew of any restaurants open and serving meals on Thanksgiving. So I did a little research and rounded up some great food options for full meals or just delicious sides and desserts to bring to your Thanksgiving meal.

Pre-Made Meal Options
-Full meals (turkey or ham), a variety of trays, sides and desserts are all available for preorder.
-Orders must be placed a minimum of 48 hours in advance. Full meal options for small and large crowds as well as various sides, desserts and vegan options.
-Order turkeys, party platters, sides, desserts, wines and more! Pre-orders end November 20th and 48 hours notice is required. PLUS – this is a great option for grabbing supplies for homemade sides, drinks, desserts, etc! And you can grab lots of our local favorites like Thomas Cattle Company, Hudson Baking Co, etc!
-Available for pre-order now!
-Lots of special savory and sweet options for Turkey Day! Orders must be placed by November 16th and pickup is on Wednesday, November 26th.
-This Meridian location is preparing holiday feasts, sides, pies, cheesecakes and more!
-Orders must be placed by the 21st, pick up is on the 26th.
-They’re doing Thanksgiving specials like turkey (some of the yummiest I’ve ever had) and brisket plus delicious sides.
-They have a delicious Harvest Gathering and Holiday Gathering options with different tiers and options to fit your family.
Pre-Made Meals Continued
-They’re offering a full Thanksgiving meal carry-out menu this year. “Feeds 4 hungry people.” Orders will be available for pick up from 10:30am – 3:00pm on November 27th.
-Serving a Holiday Buffet for dining in and offering to-go Holiday meals (ordered at least 72 hours in advance).
-Their “Heat n’ Serve Feast or Family Dinner give you a complete Thanksgiving meal to-go that’s ready to serve in 2 hours.” Orders are open now. They also have pie, breakfast and other a la carte items. You can also dine in, as they’re open Thanksgiving day.
-They’re offering ham, turkey, and prime rib dinners as well as other family meals.
-They have three options to pick from with turkey and sides, orders are due before November 25th. They’re also open to dine-in if you’d rather.
-Boise Bistro Market is offering a ham, turkey, prime rib, or full meal.
-A $25 dinner includes turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, a roll, and homemade gravy. Other sides are available for an additional purchase of $4, which includes green bean casserole or sweet potato casserole, and $12 for a full-size pumpkin or apple pie.
-Dinner includes smoked turkey breasts, spiral ham, brisket, and many sides. The full Family Meal serves eight people and comes in at $124.
-They’re offering a variety of savory and sweet baked goods for Thanksgiving. Pre-orders due by November 22nd
Family-Friendly Restaurants Open for Thanksgiving Dinner
Black Bear Diner – They’re open on Thanksgiving Day for dinner and is offering Thanksgiving entrees, sides, and desserts.
Shari’s – Their Holiday Dinner Special is Served ALL DAY on 11/27-11/29 and includes ham or turkey, traditional sides, and a slice of pie.
Cottonwood Grille – They’re serving Thanksgiving dinner all day and has a special menu for the day. To-go dinner is an option as well.
Kona Grill – Enjoy an unexpected Thanksgiving including Kona Grill’s famous Macadamia Nut Turkey, available for dine-in or take-home.
Land Ocean – Land Ocean is finer dining but with a price that’s more affordable than some of the other nicer restaurants. House made stuffing, whipped potatoes, maple glazed Brussels sprouts, cranberry relish and turkey gravy. Includes choice of soup, house salad, or Caesar salad. Full menu also available. Adults: $38 | Children 12 and Under: $24.
Rare Steakhouse – Rare Steakhouse will be open from 11am-7pm on Thanksgiving and is located in Star. Pick any entree with all sides included, along with a slice a pie for $65, aged 12-3 is $25 and 3 and under are free. You can also order a whole prime rib or a whole turkey to-go for your holiday meal at home.
Other restaurants that are open include restaurants that are amazing but may be a *littttttle* less family-friendly… Those include places like Chandlers, Bacquets, The Modern Bar and Restaurant, and more.
