We are excited to offer the purchase of special take-home activity kits related to the current exhibition made just for our Homeschool day families! Details about the kits can be found using the registration link for the specific date. We ask that each family purchase only one set, which contains the materials for multiple activities, some of which can be done as a team and some which can be done for up to 4 individuals.

Between 9 and 9:30 a.m., 2,600 sheep will cross the road during this annual event.
The public is invited to stop by and watch, but people need to stay off to the side of the road and give the sheep their space.
After that, the herd will make its way up into the foothills. People hiking the trails should leash their dogs. Anyone on a mountain bike who encounters the herd should step off their bike and walk beside it to not antagonize the livestock guardian dogs. If the dogs approach you, it’s recommended to talk to them and let them know you are human, and keep your bike between you and the dog.”

Do you love tiny adorable treasures? Do you make doodads and thingamabobs? Do you love turning old items into new treasures? Come to a trinket trade!
Meet and connect with other collectors of tiny things, trade your old treasures for new ones, customize a trinket at the craft station (this month: make your own blind box!), \visit the doodle booth, and hunt for hidden trinkets around the lobby.
And don’t forget to visit the Boise Trinket Exchange box, now permanently located outside our annex building, SKIP (9th & Myrtle).
What Should I Bring?
Trinket [trin·ket]noun 1. Small items that bring joy and whimsy! 2. Labubu/Funko size or smaller 3. Stickers, pins, keychains, charms, jewelry, toys, stuffies, knick-knacks, trading cards, friendship bracelets & MORE!
Other Important Trading Info:
Trinket Trays (segmented trays to spread out trinkets) will be available for use. Spread out your trinkets so others can see what you’re trading! Please return when you are finished.
Community Passports are available! How they work:
Every time you come to a trinket exchange and connect with someone new, get a stamp on your community passport (honor system; go to the check in to get your stamp)! After 5 stamps, you earn a prize.
Tinket trading is a barter system. Please do not take trinkets from other traders’ trays or tables without negotiating a trade. If someone has something you’re interested in, learn what they are interested in and see if you can trade up to your goal item!
The lobby closes promptly at 8pm. Please make every effort to wrap up trading by this time!
