Your Guide to Treasure Valley Pools

There are few things kids love more than a pool, amiright? Luckily, pool season is right around the corner! If you don’t have a community pool to use, or you’re just looking for a new pool to go to as the weather gets warmer, we’ve got you covered. Here is your guide to Treasure Valley pools to get you through this summer.

Boise

Natatorium Pool and Hydrotube

Opens: May 28th

Location: 1811 E. Warm Springs Ave.

Info, prices, and hours 

The Natatorium is located on the city bus line at 1811 E. Warm Springs Ave behind Adams Elementary School. Here you can enjoy the pool, diving boards, wading pool for children 6 and under when accompanied by an adult and a concession stand. The facility also features a fun, fast and safe water slide with a splashdown pool. Extra fees apply for the Hydrotube.

Ivywild Pool

Opens: May 28th @ 1PM

Location: 2250 S. Leadville Ave

Info, prices, and hours 

Ivywild pool features 2 drop-off slides, a pretzel slide, a separate wading pool for those 6 years and under accompanied by an adult and a concession stand.

Borah Pool

Opens: May 28th @ 1PM

Location: 801 Aurora Dr.

Borah pool has plenty of deck space for lounging, 2 diving boards, a basketball hoop and a small slide in the shallow end for children 6 and under.

Fairmont Pool

Opens: May 28th @ 1PM

Location: 7929 W. Northview St.

Fairmont pool has plenty of deck space for lounging, a nice grassy area, a large shallow end, a basketball hoop and a Wibit. Fairmont Pool has an inflatable slide called the Wibit. The Wibit will be in the deep end of the pool during all open sessions. Swim tests will be required to participate. There will be areas of the pool available for those who do not wish to play on the Wibit.

West Boise YMCA & Boise City Aquatics Center

Opens: Open year round

Location: 5959 N. Discovery Way

West Boise YMCA info, prices, and hours

The Boise City Aquatics Center is a public indoor swimming facility owned by the City of Boise and operated by the West Boise YMCA. The pool is open to any Boise resident, as well as Y members. Access to this facility is not included with Season Swim Passes. Boise residents will need to purchase a YMCA Aquatics Day Pass to use the facility.

Downtown Boise YMCA

Opens: Open year round

Location: 1050 W State St

Info, prices, and hours 

This location has a lap pool, recreational pool, kiddie pool, slide, and spa. Just be sure to check the website for when each pool feature is open. Some are only open on certain days/times. South Pool

Opens: This pool is closed for the 2025 season for construction

Location: 921 S. Shoshone St., Boise

Info, prices, and hours 

This pool is closed for the 2025 season for construction. Next steps include finalizing the new pool’s design elements with the architecture. Construction is expected to start on the new Whitney Pool in late 2025 with completion anticipated in 2026. Additional timeline information will be shared as it is available.

Lowell Pool

Opens: This pool is closed for the 2025 season for construction

Location: 1601 N. 28th St., Boise

This pool is closed for the 2025 season for construction. The city plans to renovate and bring the current pool up to modern safety and accessibility standards.

Meridian

Meridian Community Pool

Opens: June 2nd

Location: 213 E Franklin Rd

This pool offers a big pool and a kiddie pool and both are heated to 84 degrees. It’s ADA accessible. It includes diving boards, one set of twin slides and one corner slide. The kiddie pool is an enclosed area that includes 1 slide with a splash mat, zero depth entrance with handrail assistance, and 3 large umbrellas for maximum shade for small children. 

Tomlinson South Meridian YMCA

Opens: Open year round

Location: 5155 South Hillsdale Avenue

The Tomlinson South Meridian YMCA has a lap pool, rec pool & lazy river, kiddie pool, and hot tub. Check the link for summer hours.

Roaring Springs Water Park

Opens: Open

Location: 400 West Overland Road

“Pool” is maybe not the right word to describe Roaring Springs. Roaring Springs is the biggest waterpark in the Northwest and has slides, a lazy river, wave pools, kiddie pools, and so so much more! Nampa

The Harward Recreation Center

Opens: Open

Location: 131 Constitution Way

The Harward Recreation Center houses five indoor swimming pools with different features to offer great options for every swimmer. It has a lap pool, diving well, hydro pool, rec pool with a waterslide, kid pool, spa, and a sauna & steam room.

Lakeview Water Park

Opens: June 1st

Location: 1304 7th St. N.

Lakeview Water Park is located inside Lakeview Park on 7th Street North. Featuring a beach entry, water spray features, and a two-story slide. Lakeview Water Park is guaranteed to offer hours of fun for the whole family. Lakeview Water Park is definitely the place to enjoy the summer!

Lincoln Pool

Opens: June 6th

Location: 508 Davis Avenue

Info, prices, and hours 

Nestled in Lions Park along Davis Avenue is the community based Lincoln Pool. It is a great hangout spot for families with children of all ages. Families, kids, and teens will have fun playing through the spouting and spraying on-deck water toys, jumping off the diving board or diving into the deep end. A separate 1 to 1.5 foot deep kids’ pool is the perfect place for toddlers to enjoy the hot summer days.
