Jump is excited to once again host Día de Muertos, or Day of the Dead Sunday, November 2nd beginning at 5:00pm! Día de Muertos honors the lives of friends and family who have died. The centerpiece of Día de Muertos is the Altar, which welcomes spirits with offerings that include photographs, food, marigold flowers, drinks, and candles. This holiday is celebrated with a burst of color and life-affirming joy as those who have passed are kept alive in memory and spirit. This ancient tradition is based on the unity of life and death, and the belief that the dead would be insulted by sadness. Altars created by local families and organizations will be on display throughout the lobby. Entertainment will be held on the Pioneer Room stage and will feature entertainers of all ages in colorful costumes and painted faces. Pan de Muertos and Mexican cocoa will be served.

Global Climate Strike: Just Transition Now!
November 14, 20253:30 pm – 5:30 pm Cherie Buckner-Webb Park (1100 W Bannock St, Boise, ID 83702)
On November 14, under the banner #JustTransitionNow, young people around the world will mobilize to demand urgent, justice-centered action to phase out fossil fuels and build a sustainable future for all.
Attacks on our climate and communities are everywhere, from our federal government backing out of the Paris Agreement, gutting environmental protections and incentives for clean energy, and advocating for dirty forms of energy that pollute frontline communities, to our own local utility—Idaho Power—not following through on their promises to transition to clean energy and working to build two new gas plants by 2030. It’s time to stand up and be bold—we will NOT back down in the fight for a clean future for ALL.
Join us for a rally with powerful student speakers and performers, followed by a march and opportunities to take action for our climate and social justice.
This event is organized by students at local Boise-area high schools. Community members are welcome and encouraged to attend and show solidarity!
What to expect: 3:30 – 4:15 | Sign-making, folks arrive after school, youth-led orgs have informational tables, music, enjoy some hot chocolate and apple cider! 4:15 – 4:35 | Rally w/ student speakers and performers 4:40 – 5:00 | March to Idaho Power, final speech at Idaho Power & local calls to action 5:00 – 5:10 | Return to park, opportunities to take local action

Wintry Market is Idaho’s premier curated Winter maker’s market showcasing the best of art, craft and design.
This event is an upscale and inventive indie art/craft show in Boise every November recently named the best holiday bazaar in Idaho by Food & Wine magazine and one of the best in the West by Sunset magazine. Wintry Market consists of innovative and original items produced using traditional art/craft methods by 175 regional artists & crafters. For 14 years we have prided ourselves as being an affordable marketplace for one-of-a-kind goods. Food, coffee & drinks (alcoholic + non) available for purchase on site (no outside food or drinks allowed except water bottles).
Come enjoy a creative weekend with us and shop handmade for the holidays!
Event Details: We are excited to present our 14th year of Wintry Market on Friday Nov 21st from 4-9pm and Saturday Nov 22nd from 9am to 5pm on the main floor of the Boise Convention Centre downtown Boise on the Grove Plaza at 850 W. Front Street, Boise, ID 83702 (entry through the front doors facing the fountain only).

Thanks to you, we’re honored to have become one of the biggest and best indie holiday fairs around. We know, like you do, that our makers are extraordinary, and the quality of their handmade wares unique and limited. We are definitely not our grandmas’ Christmas bazaar (though none of us would be here without their creativity, tenacity and legacy) and definitely not for everyone. Our artisans can be edgy – they push the boundaries of art and craft, think outside the box, are sometimes both naughty and nice, and take risks. Wintry Market champions makers of all kinds.
