Summer camp is in the books, and the adventure does not slow down for the school year. HAWKs (Hiking Adventures With Kids) Kids runs after-school and homeschool enrichment for ages 5 to 12, led by naturalist educators holding bachelor’s degrees in environmental science, environmental conservation, and outdoor education. We’ve partnered with Compass Public Charter, Paramount Elementary, St. Ignatius, and Chief Joseph School of the Arts to pick Explorers up right from campus and take them out to the trail, completely screen-free.

When school closes for a teacher in-service or break day, we run full day camps so your Explorer spends it where they actually want to be; outside instead of indoors.

Your Explorer will come home with dirt under their fingernails, stories about the hawk they tracked through binoculars, and a field journal full of their own reflections from an outdoor school day so fun they never realized class was in session.

Our groups stay small by design, because child-led discovery only works when educators know every Explorer by name and can follow their curiosity wherever it leads, sometimes for miles. Click over for the full fall schedule and claim your Explorer’s spot while the season is still ahead of us. Don’t see you school listed? Message us today and we will begin the conversation!
