Sometimes it’s just too dang hot to be outside. One great way to “beat the heat” is to head to one of the most air conditioned places in town – the movie theater! Luckily, there’s a few summer and kid friendly deals to make this cool outing even better! Here’s some info on Treasure Valley summer movies.

Regal Theatres have a “Regal Summer Movie Express” program where they show kid movies every Tuesday and Wednesday for just $2/ticket! See shows like Sonic 2, Paw Patrol: The Movie, The Bad Guys, Playing With Fire, Paws of Fury, Sing 2 and more!

Cinemark Majestic Cinemas have a “Summer Movie Clubhouse” program on Wednesday mornings where movies are just $1.50 (plus tax). See shows like Paws of Fury, DC League of Super-Pets, Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile and more! They also have Discount Tuesdays and student discounts.

There are a few Reel Theatres across the Treasure Valley and while I didn’t find any specific summer deals their ticket prices tend to be much cheaper than most and usually have quite a few kid-friendly flicks showing.
