Come gather in Idaho’s Capital City to celebrate our 250th Anniversary! We’ll honor our founding fathers, mothers and those who have sacrificed for our freedoms we enjoy today. As we celebrate together we can ensure our Great Nation will endure another 250 years. The downtown Boise parade travels on Jefferson and Bannock streets in front of the State Capitol. Our community comes together to celebrate our freedoms and the blessing it is to be an American.

Meridian Independence Day Festival

Meridian City is looking forward to a grand fireworks display in Storey Park to celebrate the 250 anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence! The park will be open to families for picnics and fireworks viewing. Food trucks will be onsite at 4:00 pm for snacks and tasty local cuisine.
Thanks to Meridian Speedway for partnering with the City of Meridian once again to bring this celebration to the people of Meridian. The fireworks display will be set off from the back (east side) of the Speedway at dusk, at approximately 10:20 pm.

America’s 250th birthday is a big deal—and Star is celebrating in a big way.

The Melba “Olde Tyme” 4th of July is gearing up for another year. The 2026 theme is “Spirit of 1776: Celebrating 250 Years of Freedom”.
As always we begin with the Fun Run in the morning. Our parade begins at 10:30am and many other events take place throughout the day. We wrap it all up with an incredible fireworks display at dusk. We are looking forward to seeing you on Saturday, July 4th, 2026.
